How we verify college coach contact data
A coach list is only as good as the day it was checked. So we check 1,910 official athletics staff directories every week, and every contact you download carries the date it was last seen on the school’s own page.
Last verified: July 14, 2026
The system, in four steps
No purchased databases, no guessed addresses. Just each school’s own staff page, read on a weekly loop.
We index every official staff directory
We keep a live list of the athletics staff directory page for every one of the 1,910 colleges we cover — the same public pages you could open by hand — mapped to the sports each school fields.
A platform-aware crawler reads them weekly
Most athletics departments run one of a handful of website systems. Our crawler understands each layout, so it can pull the coach, title, email, and phone from that school’s own page instead of guessing.
Every contact carries a last-verified date
A record only counts as verified when it was actually seen on the school’s official staff page during the latest pass. That date travels with the row, so you always know how fresh a contact is.
Changes are caught before the weekly refresh
When the crawler sees a new hire, a departure, or a changed email, the difference is recorded and folded into the list — so the file you download reflects the most recent pass, not a months-old export.

What “verified” means here
We use the word narrowly and literally. A coach’s email is verified when it is currently listed next to that coach’s name on the school’s official athletics staff directory, and our crawler saw it there during the most recent weekly pass. That is the whole claim — nothing more.
Published on the official page. The email comes from the college’s own staff directory, not a third-party list.
Matched to the right coach. The address is the one printed beside that coach’s name and title.
Seen recently. It was confirmed on the page during the latest weekly check, and that date rides along with the record.
What the weekly loop catches
Coaching staff move constantly. Over the past 6 months (since the January 2026 baseline), our checks recorded:
Every one of those is a row that would be wrong on a static list. See the full coaching-changes tracker .
The 11 sports we verify
We only sell lists we can actually keep fresh, so our scope is deliberately narrow: 11 sports across all five divisions — NCAA D1, DII, DIII, NAIA, and JUCO.
Sports we deliberately don’t cover: football, basketball, baseball, softball, lacrosse, hockey, golf, and others. We’d rather verify 11 sports weekly than sell a stale list in twenty.
The honest limitations
Verified weekly is a strong claim, so here is exactly where the edges are.
Not every coach publishes an email
About 81% of the coaches we track (30,605 of 37,624) have an email printed on their staff page. When a directory lists a name and title but no address, we leave the email cell blank — we never guess or pattern-generate an address to fill the gap.
Directories change between checks
A coach can be hired the day after our weekly pass. We close that gap to at most a week, but no list — ours included — is accurate to the minute. The last-verified date tells you how recent each row is.
We only claim what’s on the page
We don’t verify that a coach reads a shared inbox, or that an address won’t bounce the moment they leave. We verify that the college published it — which is exactly the address recruits are meant to use.
